The Ottawa / Gatineau Chapter is part of the Southern Cruisers Riding Club. The International SCRC was founded in 1998 in the U.S.A. by Rick "Rickster" Perry. With approximately 31,000 members, the SCRC is one of the fastest growing riding clubs in the world. You can find SCRC Chapters not only in the U.S.A. and Canada, but also in Australia, Belgium, the Czech Republic, England, Germany, Korea, Poland and Sweden

Based out of the National Capital Region (Ottawa / Gatineau), Canada, Chapter 437 is made up of a group of folks who love to ride. We are not a "1%" motorcycle club (MC). While we love riding our motorcycles, we do so within the limits of the law. As a Southern Cruiser, you will find that we have few rules to follow:

There are no yearly dues

The SCRC is not "Brand or Gender Specific", all are welcome

You do not have to attend all club meetings or rides

There are no tasks for you to perform

The SCRC patch is optional

However, we do ask and expect a few things from our members:

Always ride safe

Don't give the Club a bad name

Breaking the law is not tolerated

The "437" is not an Internet Club.  It is however a "web-connected" Chapter. Most of the communication within the Chapter is done via our online Forum or through this site.
